This Privacy Policy describes how Whacko Golf LLC (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Dink & Dunk Golf mobile app and this website. The app is an on-course golf skills companion. Dice are used only to select a golf club for your next shot. This is not gambling and we do not collect bets or payment information ourselves.
1. Who this applies to
This policy covers the iOS app Dink & Dunk Golf and the website used for launch updates and support. The app does not require an account or login.
2. Information we collect
On your device (app)
- Trial / session counts and unlock status stored locally on the device so the free trial and Full Version features work.
- We do not ask for your name, email, or a user account inside the app.
- We do not collect precise location. The app is meant to be used on a golf course, but it does not use GPS.
Purchases
- The optional Full Version unlock is a one-time In-App Purchase processed by Apple. Apple handles payment, Apple ID, and receipts. We do not receive your full credit-card number.
- If purchase management (for example RevenueCat) is enabled, that service may receive an anonymous purchase / entitlement status so the app can unlock features and restore purchases.
Advertising (free users)
- Free users may see banner ads from Google AdMob.
- Google may collect device and advertising identifiers, IP address, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads.
- On iOS we may request permission to track via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, ads can still appear, but they should be less personalized.
- Full Version purchasers do not see ads after unlock.
This website
- If you join the launch list or send a support message, we collect the email address and message you submit, plus standard form metadata.
- The site is hosted by Netlify. Form submissions are processed by Netlify on our behalf.
3. How we use information
- Operate the app: trial limits, game unlocks, restore purchases, and ads for free users.
- Notify you of launch or respond to support requests you send.
- Understand and fix problems (for example crash or purchase failures, if those tools are enabled).
- Comply with law and App Store / payment-provider rules.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Apple — App Store, In-App Purchase, and related services. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
- Google (AdMob) — ads shown to free users. See Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob privacy.
- Netlify — website hosting and forms. See Netlify’s Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat (if enabled) — purchase entitlement status. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the app, our users, or Whacko Golf LLC.
5. Retention
Device data stays on your phone until you delete the app or clear its data. Website form submissions are kept only as long as needed to notify you, answer support, or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete a stored email or support message using the Support page.
6. Your choices
- Decline tracking when iOS asks, or change it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Tracking.
- Limit Ad Tracking / reset your Advertising Identifier in iOS Settings.
- Unlock the Full Version to remove ads.
- Use Restore Purchase on the unlock screen if you reinstall the app.
- Ask us to delete website signup or support data via the Support page.
7. Children
The app and site are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International users
The app and site may be hosted and processed in the United States. If you use them from another country, you consent to that transfer.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the app or site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
